Evangelization Commission

 

Eucharistic Adoration:  Adoration is held every Thursday from 9:00am - 9:00pm.  Through the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament we are able to spend time in reflection with JesusContact ltimberman@centrulink.net

Evangilization Team:  The team facilitates and plans the evangelizing work of parish groups and members.  Evangelization renews our faith community, invites others to experience Jesus, and promotes peace and justice in the home and throughout the world.  Contact mwbraun@sbcglobal.net

RCIA:  RCIA provides an opportunity to learn more in order to make an informed decision for those interested in entering into full communion with the Catholic Church.  Contact kwright@saintsimon.org.

Strengths Finder Committee:  The mission of this committee is to help parishioners become more engaged as a community of prayer and service.  Contact Lance & Julie Lyday @335-2858

Liturgy Committee:  Coordinates all aspects of the liturgies for Sundays and Holy Days.  The committee tries to enhance the spiritual growth of our community through the eucharistic celebrations.  Contact jlelcesser@aol.com

Eucharistic Ministers:  Assist in serving the Body and Blood of Christ at each Mass according to standards and church regulations.  Contact dennisgochoel@aol.com

Lectors:  Volunteers serve as lectors proclaiming the word of God at all Masses.  Contact Jill.Manchir@nationalcity.com

Hospitality Ministers:  Help to create a welcoming and reverent environment before, during and after each Mass.  Contact schueth@sbcglobal.net

Music Ministry:  To provide music leadership for the celebration of all Masses, and offers opportunities musically and spiritually through participation of voice and instrument.  Our ultimate goal is to lift God's name in praise and glorify Him.  Contact hrepp@saintsimon.org

Cursillo:  A 3-day weekend retreat to help you experience your Catholic faith more fully.   Contact hoho@comcast.net

Christ Renews His Parish:  A retreat process to bring members of a parish together in Christ.  Christ Renews calls us to experience personal conversion and Christian community in the environment of our own parish.  The women's weekend is in January and the men's weekend is in February.  Contact recoryell@sbcglobal.net

Welcoming Committee:  Working under Saint Simon Women's club, they host the hospitality table the first weekend of each month, providing registration forms and general information on becoming a parishioner at St. Simon.  Contact bobnjackmac@aol.com
