The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
RCIA provides an opportunity to learn more in order to make an informed decision for those interested in entering into full communion with the Catholic Church. Once that decision is made, preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation and Reconciliation take place. Catechists and Catechumens are brought into the Church at Easter Vigil. Teaching the basics of the faith: Scripture and Tradition; Eucharist and the True Presence; Apostolic Succession; Mary and the Saints; Moral and Social Justice Teachings; Liturgy, Sacraments and Faith.
Sessions begin Wednesday September 7, 2011 at 7:00pm in the St. Elizabeth Seton Room in the Parish Life Center and continue through April 2012.
