Matrimony
Marriages in the Catholic church are part of our spiritual life with God and one another. Sacramental marriage is not merely a social event, but also a faith event. Sacraments are celebrated for members of the church who are trying to live out their faith.
As such, at least one partner needs to be a practicing, registered member of St. Simon the Apostle Parish. Because it is also a community event, the bride or groom must have been a registered member of the St. Simon the Apostle faith community for at least six months before setting the wedding date. After that time, you may begin your marriage preparation by calling the office for an appointment with one of the priests.
