Here is how your fellow parishioners feel about stewardship.
Stewardship to me means using my God-given talents and resources to help do God's work in my community. It is important to me because it is my way of showing thanks for the many blessings I have received. My stewardship sharing has changed me because I have learned that by giving of myself I receive so much more in return - it's spiritually, emotionally and socially rewarding, and makes me feel closer to God. ---Sherri
Stewardship is my responsibility to share the blessings of what God has given - time, talent and treasure. I'm grateful for our Catholic Community at St. Simon the Apostle and what my family has experienced through education and faith.---Erich
I believe stewardship is sharing what has been given to me. Sometimes I struggle with being open to this calling, but I know it is my responsibility. I have found when volunteering, I truly receive more than I give. ---Julie
To me, stewardship means responsibility – being responsible for the parish and our faith. Stewardship is essential. It is a tie that binds the members of our church together into our collective parish family. --Kurt
I feel stewardship means putting God’s priorities before my own and sharing the first fruits for the Blessings He has provided. --Eric
