This is a retreat for High School guys to get away for two days at Camp Belzer! It will start at 3:30 pm, 4/15, where we will meet in the St. Simon Parking Lot near the Youth Center. From there we will head to Camp Belzer for the majority of the retreat. The retreat will end at 7:45 pm, 4/16, back in the St. Simon Parking Lot. This retreat focuses on being a man of God and building brotherhood that is centered on Christ. There is no cost for this retreat, you will just need to bring a tent, toiletries, camp chair and clothes for two days of camping. If you do not have a tent, we have few extras. If you have any questions please contact Caleb Alfaro at [email protected].
Youth Ministry --Event Guidelines
The policies listed below are for all High School and middle school events. These are meant to ensure a safe, healthy and Christian environment for events. We appreciate your participation in events and your assistance in following these rules!
*Proper Dress Policy: Your attire and dress code should always reflect Christian Modesty, both in how the clothing covers your body and in what your clothing says! Appropriately dressed students will be welcomed and admitted. When in doubt, please bring an alternative article of attire.
*Electronics Policy: Cell phones are encouraged to be in your pocket, as we want you to enjoy and be unplugged at events.
*Guest Policy: Students are allowed to bring guests.
*Behavior Policy: The purpose of all event policies is to create a Christian atmosphere and an attitude of consideration and respect for others. Discipline is as fundamental to Catholic education as it is to the Christian way of life. The following behavior is considered inappropriate at events: bullying; cheating, lying, or dishonesty; damage or destruction to property; fighting; foul language; groping; inappropriate dancing; kissing; leaving the property without permission; possession or use of any weapon, illegal substances (alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping, e-cigs, or other); stealing; verbal harassment; and any other behavior or incident deemed to be serious in nature by youth minister and team.
Displaying any of the above types of behavior will result in parent notification and the student and any guest will be dismissed. Additionally, all involved could face suspension from future events.
